Every community in our nation should be prepared for mass violence.
You’re invited to join the first-of-its-kind national virtual summit to learn evidence-based fundamentals of mass violence preparation, response, recovery, and resilience. You’ll hear the power of the personal stories of survivors; lessons learned from civic, community and state leaders who’ve experienced the devastation of a mass violence incident; and practical tips to collaborate and create effective mass violence plans that are survivor-centered and address the behavioral and mental health needs of victims and communities.
Everyone is welcome to attend the free virtual summit, which will be especially beneficial to crime survivors; local, state, Tribal and national victim services and behavioral/mental health providers; law enforcement and justice professionals; first responders and emergency management officials; civic and community leaders; and anyone who recognizes the importance of partnerships to prepare for mass violence incidents.
*This virtual summit will include live ASL interpretation.
