Many youth mentoring programs in the U.S. are smaller-scale programs that serve fewer than 100 mentor matches. Smaller programs often have limited staff time that is split between supporting mentor matches, recruiting new mentors, and raising funding to keep the lights on.
In this webinar, the presenters will explore proven capacity building strategies for smaller organizations that can be applied to the youth mentoring field.
Participants will come away with a basic understanding of how a smaller organization can utilize different capacity building tactics, learn how to better utilize volunteers, mentors, board members or advisory council members in the capacity building process, and leave with a framework for creating a capacity building development plan for your mentoring program.
