The goal of this training is to build a level of cohesiveness within the investigative team while working to respond to the emergency. Participants will take part in a multi-disciplinary, multi-jurisdictional tabletop exercise built around realistic abduction scenario. Participants will work through initial deployment, response, investigation, recovery and reunification procedures utilizing appropriate local resources.
Upon completion of this training, you will be able to:
- Develop and deploy effective response strategies in missing and abducted child cases
- Identify, leverage and coordinate community resources in an effective team response
- Adapt and change the investigative response as the investigative environment changes
