Social and victim service providers play an important role in responding to the needs of people who have experienced female genital mutilation/cutting (FGM/C).
This training will provide introductory knowledge of FGM/C and how to serve people who have experienced FGM/C. Attendees will learn core principles of care for people who have experienced FGM/C, and cultural considerations when working to prevent and address this issue. It will also include an overview of available resources and tools that providers can use in their work.
