National Summit on Youth Homelessness

Event Dates
Location
Hyatt Regency Capitol Hill
Address

Washington, DC

This event focuses exclusively on how government agencies, policymakers, young leaders, service providers, and other experts can partner together to prevent and respond to youth homelessness.

The Summit offers the following tracks for the breakout sessions:
- Introductory Practice Track: Hot topics for practitioners new to the youth homelessness field.
- Advanced Practice Track: Hot topics for those who have been doing the work for several years.
- Nonprofit CEO Track: Peer-to-peer learning on topics that nonprofit CEOs are grappling with.
- Education Practice Track: Early childhood, K-12, and higher education co-convened with SchoolHouse Connection

These breakout tracks provide attendees the ability to identify opportunities to learn about practices, resources, and strategies that are most relevant to their daily work in preventing and responding to youth and young adult homelessness.

The Summit offers the chance to learn about federal policy developments in the current political environment of both the U.S. Congress and the Administration. NN4Y will facilitate a discussion among federal agencies to learn more about their own work to address youth homelessness and encourage them to take targeted and systemic actions.
