The Mentoring for Children of Incarcerated Parents program provides funding to support high quality mentoring services that meet the needs associated with the target population and that will reduce delinquency or other problem behaviors in at risk youth.
Goals are to increase positive outcomes for youth such as improved academic performance and reduced school dropout rates and reduce negative outcomes for youth such as delinquency, substance use, and gang participation.
This webinar will provide a general overview of the program, the goals and objectives, a discussion about the application process, and a Q&A opportunity for participants.
