The Youth Justice and Mental Health Collaboration Program supports proposals to develop and implement a cross system collaborative approach to improve responses to and outcomes for youth with mental health disorders (MHD) and co occurring mental health and substance use disorders (MHSUDs) who come into contact with the juvenile justice system or are leaving a custodial setting.
The goal of this program is to increase public safety by facilitating cross system collaboration among youth justice, mental health, and substance use agencies to improve responses and outcomes for justice involved youth with MHDs and MHSUDs.
This webinar will provide a general overview of the program, the goals and objectives, a discussion about the application process, and a Q&A opportunity for participants.
