In this webinar, representatives from the Bureau of Justice Assistance (BJA) and The Council of State Governments (CSG) Justice Center reviewed the BJA FY24 Second Chance Act Pay for Success Program application process.
The program supports performance-based and outcomes-based programming to provide reentry services for people leaving incarceration (Category 1) as well as permanent supportive housing (Category 2). Applicants may propose to establish new contracts or to amend or expand existing ones to serve people who are currently or were formerly involved in the justice system in order to improve reentry, lower recidivism, and improve the lives of individuals leaving the criminal justice system.
Speakers:
- Andre Bethea, Senior Policy Advisor, BJA
- Charles Francis, Deputy Program Director, Behavioral Health, CSG Justice Center
