Restorative Justice Storytelling

This webinar highlights how practitioners, writers, and artists advance restorative justice advocacy and education efforts through storytelling. Examples discussed include novels, films, case studies, theatre, etc., and highlight the importance of human-centered language.

During this webinar, the presenters will offer strategies and provide terms, phrases, and language to replace dehumanizing and stigmatizing phrases. The public will consider how media influences their perceptions of justice issues and will give avenues for pushing media to adopt more human-centered language and approaches to storytelling.
