Presentations and workshops at this national conference will offer a foundation-level understanding of sex trafficking in Indian Country as well as specific, in-depth discussion about working with special populations (such as persons with disabilities, youth, and LGBTQ Two-Spirit individuals).
Break-out sessions will be offered by discipline and audience (tribal leadership, law enforcement, prosecutor, advocacy, casinos and tribal enterprises, mental health, and so forth). Sessions will focus on barriers and strategies to support American Indian and Alaska Native survivors of sex trafficking and holding perpetrators accountable.
