BJS Releases Female Murder Victims and Victim-Offender Relationship, 2021
The Bureau of Justice Statistics, a division of the Department of Justice’s Office of Justice Programs, today released Female Murder Victims and Victim-Offender Relationship, 2021.
This brief Just the Stats report presents findings on murder victims by victim sex and the relationship of the victim to the alleged offender. The report provides information based on crime estimates derived from data submitted by law enforcement agencies to the FBI’s National Incident-Based Reporting System in 2021.
