The materials were developed to coincide with National Crime Victims' Week, April 6-12, 2014. The material on both the CD-ROM and the DVD highlight the progress that has been made in the last 30 years on restoring the balance of justice and providing assistance to victims of crime. The DVD contains a 5 minutes video, with closed captioning, highlighting the progress made for victims of crime in the last 30 years, as well as a public service announcement about the victims of human trafficking. The CD-ROM contains the artwork from the 2013 National Crime Victims' Rights Week (NCVRW) and the 2014 NCVRW Resource Guide. The resource guide has seven sections that provide information and assistance for organizations aimed at informing the public about victims' rights. The seven sections are 1) Resource Guide Overview; 2) Developing Your Campaign; 3) Resource Guide Artwork; 4) Communicating Your Message; 5) Landmarks in Victims' Rights and Services; 6) Statistical Overview; and 7) Additional Resources.
