This paper describes the features of “JustGrants,” the U.S. Department of Justice’s (DOJ’s) new web-based, streamlined grants management software.
The main benefits of JustGrants are to provide grant applicants and grantees transparency and improved user experiences throughout the process of grants management. JustGrants provides grant applicants and grantees with 1) efficient processes that enable tracking progress and entering data directly; 2) improved data accuracy and access to that data with tools for data validation and reporting; 3) organizational profiles with increased visibility for applicant and grantee organizations regarding all their grants and applications across DOJ agencies; 4) improved availability and automation of electronic forms, reducing the need for uploading attachments and manual data entry; and 5) integration with SAM.gov and Grants.gov to maintain consistent entity information and reduce duplicate data entry. This guide is part of a larger training resource library that includes self-guided eLearning videos and infographics. All training resources are accessible on the JustGrants Training page.
