In addition to featuring the 2021 Forensic Technology Center of Excellence’s (FTCoE’s) Annual Metrics Report and inforgraphic, access is provided to the reports for 2020, 2019, 2018, 2017, and 2012-2016.
Overall, this report provides data and descriptions of the various efforts of the FTCoE in its primary mission of providing evidence-based resources related to forensic technologies and emerging challenges. The categories of activities conducted by FTCoE in fulfilling its mission include outreach methods, community impact, working groups, Forensic Laboratory Needs Technology Working Group (FLN-TWG), Medicolegal Death Investigation-Data Exchange-Working Group (MDI-DATA-WG), knowledge dissemination, National Institute of Justice (NIJ) R&D (Research and Development) Portfolio database, and technology transition by discipline supported. Under each of these service and technology domains, data are provided for each activity or service provided, with level of participation provided for some of the activities.
