This solicitation overview by the Bureau of Justice Assistance (BJA) of the Office of Justice Programs (OJP) provides details about the FY 2024 Coordinated Hate Crimes Resource Center.

Abstract

The Bureau of Justice Assistance (BJA) of the Office of Justice Programs (OJP) invites applications for the FY 2024 Coordinated Hate Crimes Resource Center. Public- and state-controlled institutions of higher education; nonprofits having a 501(c)(3) status with the IRS, other than institutions of higher education; nonprofits that do not have a 501(c)(3) status with the IRS, other than institutions of higher education; private institutions of higher education; for-profit organizations other than small businesses; and small businesses are eligible to apply. Successful applicants will receive funding to establish a coordinated hate crimes resource center. The resource center will serve as single location for communities to access the latest promising practices, research, and implementation support from across many disciplines to address hate crimes. BJA encourages agencies that have not previously received BJA funding and convening or governing bodies that can apply on behalf of one or more entities to apply. The solicitation also includes tips for success and information about how and when to apply.
