The Bureau of Justice Assistance (BJA) of the Office of Justice Programs (OJP) invites applications for the FY 2024 Residential Substance Abuse Treatment for State Prisoners Program. Successful candidates will receive formula funding to assist states with developing and implementing residential substance use disorder (SUD) treatment programs for people with substance use or co-occurring substance use and mental health disorders during detention or incarceration, as well as during the reentry process. Only states are eligible to apply and must designate a single State Administering Agency (SAA) with the authority to apply on their behalf.
