This publication is a solicitation overview for the Bureau of Justice Assistance (BJA) Second Chance Act Community-based Reentry Incubator Initiative.
The Bureau of Justice Assistance (BJA) of the Office of Justice Programs published this solicitation overview for the Second Chance Act Community-based Reentry Incubator Initiative. Eligible applicants include nonprofits having a 501(c)(3) status with the IRS, other than institutions of higher education. Successful applicants will receive funding to serve as financial intermediaries to community-based reentry programs (subawardees) and to provide support via an incubator model in order to increase capability and capacity within the subawardees’ organizations. The BJA encourages applications from agencies that have not previously received BJA funding and convening or governing bodies that can apply on behalf of one or more entities.
