This instructor’s manual supports the National Victim Assistance Academy (NVAA) 2002 text. It includes sections outlining the nuts and bolts of NVAA participation and instruction, principles of adult learning, effective presentation techniques, and recommended training outlines for each chapter topic in the NVAA text. Theory and practical tips are included that can augment and enhance NVAA 2002 efforts. The manual consists of detailed learning activities for each chapter or section.
