This paper provides the results from a two-year follow-up study on the lasting impacts of the Teams, Games, Tournaments alcohol education program, compared with traditional instruction and no-instruction control groups.
Previously reported data have demonstrated the effectiveness of the Teams, Games, Tournaments (TGT) alcohol education program. This article presents findings from a two-year follow-up to determine the longer-term effects of the TGT program as compared to the traditional instruction and no-instruction control groups. The authors note that follow-up data indicate that the TGT students maintained previous positive changes. The authors also discuss possible applications of this primary prevention program to social work practice. Publisher Abstract Provided
