Guidance is presented on how to plan a trauma, death, and death notification seminar for professional counselors and victim advocates and on how to succeed in reaching and training adult audiences. Tips on the use of flip charts and transparencies are offered. A curriculum is included that contains materials on crisis responder stress, post-traumatic stress disorder, and secondary traumatization and that may be particularly useful for mental health counselors and victim advocates. An annotated literature review and sample overheads and handouts for use in conducting a seminar are provided. References
