This study summarizes the conclusions of a year-long observation of accident data in a Hungarian county.
Abstract
Separately analyzed accidents that had a violence component were compared to the total accident sample. Two samples showed some divergence in the objective circumstances, health or sociopsychological characteristics, and in their consequences. The research gave special attention to the circumstances that triggered police intervention or refusal to intervene in cases of personal injuries. (Publisher abstract modified)
