Abstract
THERE HAS BEEN A CHANGE IN THE STATISTICAL COUNTING OF CRIMINAL CASES SINCE THE ENACTMENT OF THE SPEEDY TRIAL ACT. RESULTING IN THE INCLUSION OF AN ADDITIONAL SERIES OF CRIMINAL STATISTICAL TABLES PRESENTING DATA ON ALL CASES REPORTED (INCLUDING ALL FELONIES, MISDEMEANORS, MINOR OFFENSES, AND PETTY OFFENSES HEARD ONLY BY A JUDGE OR APPEALED TO THE COURT FROM A MAGISTRATE'S DECISION).
