This report describes the decision made at various points of the California criminal justice system relating to different offenses, offenders, and county population groups for 1982.
Abstract
The data provided are based on that reported to the Department of Justice by local and State criminal justice agencies on the form for the 'Disposition of Arrest and Court Action.' Charts showing comparative data are emphasized throughout the report. These charts describe variables such as the offense committed; the offender's sex, race/ethnic group, and age; and the population of the county arrest. Included also is an examination of selected relationships between the many variables affecting the processing of these offenders.
