BRIEF REVIEW OF THE BASIC ANTHROPOLOGICAL FACTORS IN HUMAN AGGRESSION AND A BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THREE MODELS OF SOCIAL STRUCTURE IN TERMS OF THEIR EFFECT ON THE LEVEL OF VIOLENCE AND AGGRESSION IN THOSE SOCIETIES.
Abstract
ACCORDING TO THESE MODELS, THE LEVEL OF VIOLENCE AND AGGRESSION IS PROPORTIONAL TO THE LACK OF INTEGRATION OF SOCIAL, ECONOMIC, AND POLITICAL VALUES AND MORES IN THE SOCIETY. THE PLURALISTIC, DEMOCRATIC SOCIETIES OF CERTAIN WESTERN COUNTRIES ARE EXAMPLES OF SOCIETIES WITH THE GREATEST LEVELS OF SOCIAL AGGRESSION SINCE THEY HAVE THE MOST DISPARATE SOCIAL GROUPS. --IN FRENCH
