This report presents data relevant to criminal justice resources and expenditures in the State of Alaska.
Abstract
Its purpose is to show how government funds are distributed to the different government agencies and budget categories and then show in detail how the justice category resources are distributed. The report contains a description of each criminal justice agency as found in the State statutes, the number and type of employees, the expenditures and funding for fiscal years 1977-1980, the capacities of local jails and correctional institutions, and the size of local police departments.
