Abstract
This is the first of an annual series of collections of relevant evaluation articles that have been published in the professional literature. Articles selected demonstrate the use of evaluation methods and instruments in school and community programs. The abstracts consist of three major sections. First, each article (presented alphabetically by principal author) is summarized in a single-page abstract and indexed by a set of keywords appropriate to its content. Second, all articles included in this volume are profiled in a summary chart according to type of report; target group served; and program factors such as attitude change, decision skills, peer group issues, and self- esteem. A subject index, using the keywords from each abstract, concludes the report.
