Abstract
TOPICS BRIEFLY CONSIDERED BY THE AUTHOR INCLUDE - THE PHYSIOLOGICAL EFFECTS OF ALCOHOL, ALCOHOL AND DRIVING PERFORMANCE, BLOOD-ALCOHOL LEVELS AND ACCIDENT STATISTICS, FINDINGS FROM STUDIES ON DRINKING DRIVERS, THE BRITISH MEDICAL ASSOCIATION'S VIEW, AND DRUNKEN PEDESTRIANS AND CYCLISTS. THE CONCLUSION DRAWN IS THAT ALCOHOL IS A REALLY BIG FACTOR IN THE CAUSE OF ROAD ACCIDENTS.
