OPERATIONS DOCUMENTATION IS PRESENTED IN THE FORM OF RUN SHEETS WHICH CONTAIN ALL INFORMATION NECESSARY TO SET THE JOB UP AND RUN EACH INDIVIDUAL PROGRAM.
Abstract
PART OF THE COMPLETE SET OF SEVENTEEN MODULARIZED ALERT II SYSTEMS OPERATING MANUALS, THE OPERATIONS MANUAL IS ONE OF SIX VOLUMES THAT CONTAIN INFORMATION APPLICABLE TO EACH OF THE ELEVEN SUBSYSTEMS. EACH PROGRAM RUN SHEET CONTAINS A SPECIAL INSTRUCTIONS SECTION WHICH GIVES INSTRUCTIONS AND IN SOME CASES EXAMPLES OF CONTROL CARDS AND NECESSARY OPERATOR RESPONSES. THE RUN SHEETS ARE GROUPED INTO THE LOGICAL SUB-SYSTEMS DEFINED IN THE SYSTEMS DOCUMENTATION. NORMALLY, THESE RUN SHEETS ARE IN ORDER OF THE PROGRAM NUMBER WITHIN SUB-SYSTEM, BUT IN INSTANCES WHERE THE PROCESSING SEQUENCE HAS BEEN CHANGED FROM ITS ORIGINAL SEQUENCE, THE RUN SHEETS ARE IN ORDER OF PROCESSING SEQUENCE. AT THE FRONT OF EACH SUB-SYSTEM, A SUMMARY 'PROCESSING SCHEDULE' IS PRESENTED. THIS SCHEDULE SERVES AS A TABLE OF CONTENTS AND DISPLAYS THE SEQUENCE AND RUN FREQUENCY OF EACH PROGRAM. FOR OTHER DOCUMENTS APPLICABLE TO ALL SUBSYSTEMS, REFER TO NCJ12894, 12895, 13118, AND 13119. FOR SUBSYSTEM DOCUMENTATION, REFER TO NCJ-12897-12899, 12904-12910, AND 13123.
