This is an evaluation of Interpol's murder data.
Abstract
Reviews of survey studies in different nations suggested that Interpol's murder data were valid because most unreported crimes were minor; rates of unreported crimes were similar in developing and developed countries; methodological and definitional variations could be considered random measurement errors.
