Abstract
THIS ARTICLE DISCUSSES THE RESULTS OF A STUDY OF FEDERAL AND STATE JURY COMPOSITION IN RHODE ISLAND, A STATE THAT RELIES ON VOTER REGISTRATION LISTS FOR JUROR SELECTION. THE AUTHOR STATES THAT IF IT IS DESIRED THAT JURORS BE OF THE SAME SOCIAL STATUS AS THE COMMUNITY AS A WHOLE, THEN VOTER LISTS SHOULD NOT BE USED.
