Abstract
A testament to the expanding reach of critical research in the area of critical criminology is found in this collection of papers presented at the 2009 Australia and New Zealand Critical Criminology Conference. Highlights of the papers presented at the conference include: 1) women's post-release experience; 2) domestic violence; 3) detention and removal of convicted non-citizens; 4) victim compensation and assistance; 5) assessing public opinion in criminal justice; 6) indigenous justice; 7) restorative justice; 8) prison education; 9) community corrections; and 10) bail legislative reform in Australia.
