Abstract
THE MISSOURI LAW ENFORCEMENT ASSISTANCE COUNCIL WAS ESTABLISHED IN 1968 AS THE STATE PLANNING AGENCY RESPONSIBLE FOR ADMINISTERING AND IMPLEMENTING THE PROVISIONS OF THE OMNIBUS CRIME CONTROL AND SAFE STREETS ACT. ALSO INCLUDED IS A SHORT DESCRIPTION OF THE MISSOURI UNIFORM LAW ENFORCEMENT SYSTEM (MULES), AND INTRASTATE CRIMINAL JUSTICE INFORMATION SYSTEM, AND A LIST OF STATE AGENCIES FUNDED BY THE MISSOURI LAW ENFORCEMENT ASSISTANCE COUNCIL.
