Abstract
THE WORKBOOK DESCRIBES THE CONTENTS OF THE VIDEOTAPE IT IS INTENDED TO ACCOMPANY, INCLUDING INFORMATION ON THE USE OF CRIME ANALYSIS DATA, THE OREGON UNIFORM REPORTING PROGRAM, BASIC MATHEMATICAL CALCULATIONS, GRAPHIC ILLUSTRATION, AND A SAMPLE ANALYSIS FOR A POLICE AGENCY. THE GUIDE PROVIDES INSTRUCTORS WITH SPECIFIC INFORMATION ON COURSE OBJECTIVES, WHAT THE INSTRUCTOR SHOULD KNOW ABOUT THE TAPES, HOW LONG THE SESSION TAKES, WHAT MATERIALS ARE NEEDED BY THE INSTRUCTOR AND STUDENTS, AND HOW TO OPERATE THE VIDEOTAPE MACHINE, AS WELL AS HOW TO BEGIN THE TRAINING SESSION.
