Abstract
AN INTRODUCTORY REVIEW OF THE PRINCIPLES OF BEHAVIOR MODIFICATION IS ACCOMPANIED BY ILLUSTRATIONS FROM PROFESSIONS INVOLVED IN THE PROCESS OF BEHAVIOR CHANGE SUCH AS PSYCHOLOGY, EDUCATION AND SPEECH PATHOLOGY. THIS IS FOLLOWED BY DESCRIPTIONS OF THE CORRECTIONAL PROGRAMS WHICH HAVE UTILIZED THESE PROCEDURES SYSTEMATICALLY.
