USE OF SCIENTIFIC METHOD IN ASSESSING THE EFFECTIVENESS OF MEASURES USED FOR PREVENTING OR REDUCING JUVENILE DELINQUENCY OR TREATING JUVENILE DELINQUENTS.
Abstract
THE EVALUATIVE PROCESS CONSISTS OF FIVE MAIN STEPS WHICH ARE - THE SELECTION AND THE IDENTIFICATION OF THE ACTIVITIES TO BE STUDIED AND THE ASPECTS TO BE EVALUATED, THE DEVELOPMENT OF A STANDARD IN TERMS OF WHICH WORTH CAN BE ASSESSED, THE DETERMINATION OF ACCOMPLISHMENTS AND THE COMPARISON BETWEEN THE ACCOMPLISHMENTS AND THE STANDARD BY WHICH WORTH IS TO BE MEASURED. BY THESE STEPS, EVALUATION ITSELF IS DEFINED AND ITS MEANING, FOR SERVICE PROGRAMMES AS WELL AS FOR PROJECTS OF SIMPLER COMPOSTION, CLARIFIED. AUTHOR ABSTRACT
