Abstract
WHILE THE PRIVACY ACT OF 1974 ALLOWS INDIVIDUALS TO SEE ANY FEDERAL FILES BEING KEPT ON HIM, IN ORDER TO ENSURE THE RELEVANCY, ACCURACY, AND CONTEMPORANEITY OF MATERIALS, H.R. 1984 INVOLVES THE GOVERNMENTAL AGENCIES AT THE STATE AND LOCAL LEVELS AND THE PRIVATE SECTOR AS WELL.
