RESULTS OF A STUDY OF IDENTIFICATION OF HIGH-RISK EMPLOYEES SUGGEST THE ADVANTAGE OF USING WEIGHTED APPLICATION BLANK SCORES TO REDUCE INTERNAL THEFT AFTER AN EMPLOYEE IS HIRED.
Abstract
THE USE OF WEIGHTED 'BIODATA' WOULD NOT BE USED TO SCREEN OUT APPLICANTS BUT TO GIVE PREDICTIVE INFORMATION AS TO WHICH EMPLOYEES ARE HIGH-RISK AND SHOULD RECEIVE APPROPRIATE SURVEILLANCE AND SUPERVISION. RESULTS COME FROM STUDIES OF PREDICTIVE TESTING WITHIN A SUPERMARKET CHAIN AND A MASS MERCHANDISER.
