Abstract
SUMMARIES OF THE VARIOUS BILLS WHICH WERE INTRODUCED INTO PARLIAMENT AND INFORMATION ABOUT THEIR OUTCOMES. MOVEMENTS AGAINST CAPITAL PUNISHMENT LED BY MEMBERS OF THE GOVERNMENT AND PRIVATE ORGANIZATIONS ARE TRACED FROM THE NINETEENTH CENTURY TO THE PRESENT.
