This article discusses the possibility of differentiating between several modes for youth to leave a life on the streets.
Abstract
First of all, this diversity can be accounted for by the dynamics of identity that characterizes youth who wish to leave their life on the street. This article proposes a typology of exiting from the street. This typology clarifies that leaving the street is not a linear and progressive process, but this involves a break in the child's biographical line, or an exhaustion of those resources that allowed the child to remain on the street. An exit from the street is considered a step in the career of the child. 23 footnotes and 28 references
