Following a State court system organization chart, this report provides information and statistics on the activities of the various court levels, as well as a detailed report on cases of driving under the influence (DUI).
Abstract
The statistical tables for the Supreme Court address court activity, 1995; histories of filings, dispositions, and pending cases for 1991-1995; court activity for criminal appeals, civil appeals, and total appeals for 1991-1995; and court activity for criminal petitions for review, civil petitions for review, and other reviews for 1991-1995. Similar case information and statistics are provided for the Court of Appeals and each of its divisions. Also included are data on median days between events for criminal appeals, civil appeals, and total appeals disposed of by opinion for 1991-1995. Similar statistics are also provided for each type of case processed by the superior courts and courts of limited jurisdiction. The section on DUI contains information and statistics on DUI dispositions and sentencing. Extensive tables
