DIFFICULTIES INVOLVED IN CHECKING AND TRACING STOLEN GOODS ARE DIRECTLY RELATED TO THE SURPLUS OF AVAILABLE MARKETS.
Abstract
THE WIDE VARIETY OF OUTLETS INCLUDE FLEA MARKETS, AUCTIONS, DISCOUNT STORES, AND TRUCK SALES, THE GREATER PERCENTAGE OF WHICH ARE OPERATED BY LEGITIMATE BUSINESSMEN. THE AUTHOR CONCLUDES THAT STAYING ALERT TO THE PROBLEM, AND SURVEYING POSSIBLE LOCATIONS WILL ASSIST IN RECOVERING STOLEN MERCHANDISE.
