Abstract
Interviews with nurses, police officers, child abuse victims, and troubled parents reveal how psychological and social factors can make even loving parents abusive. Case studies illustrate how education can prevent and help terminate parental abuse of children. Viewers are advised about what they can do to help protect children, as the film identifies key warning signs that may indicate a child has been abused or neglected.
