Abstract
EMPHASIZED IS THE FACT THAT SINCE THE PATROL OFFICER IS THE FIRST LINE OF DEFENSE AVAILABLE TO THE BATTERED CHILD, WAITING TO TALK OVER POSSIBLE ACTIONS WITH A SUPERIOR OFFICER MAY RESULT IN SERIOUS INJURY TO THE CHILD, OR WORSE. A SYLLABUS AND LESSON PLAN ACCOMPANIES THE FILM.
