Abstract
THIS EDUCATIONAL MANUAL, WHICH IS INTENDED TO FACILITATE THE LAW'S IMPLEMENTATION, CONTAINS INFORMATION ON WHO IS OBLIGATED TO REPORT CHILD ABUSE CASES, THE MECHANICS OF PREPARING THE REPORT, AND PROTECTION OF THE IDENTITY OF THE REPORTER. ALSO COVERED ARE THE RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE COUNTY DEPARTMENT OF SOCIAL SERVICES, THE PROTECTIVE AUTHORITY OF HOSPITALS OR MEDICAL FACILITIES, AND THE LEGAL REQUIREMENTS OF THE STATE FOR DEALING WITH ABUSE CASES.
