Abstract
Separate conference papers examine the influence of familial, genetic, neurological, gender-related, peer, and media factors on childhood aggression and violence. The relationship between childhood violence and aggression and psychopathology, moral judgment, hyperactivity, social skills, and child maltreatment are examined. Also considered is the relationship between aggression and juvenile crime and early predictors of antisocial behavior and delinquency. An overview provides a systems perspective on childhood aggression and violence. Chapter references and tables and index. See NCJ 112365-112375 for individual chapters.
