This manual describes policies and procedures designed to ensure the safe investigation of clandestine laboratories producing illicit drugs in California.
Abstract
Personnel duties and protective equipment are described. Procedures are delineated for securing the laboratory crime scene, laboratory dismantling, evidence handling and storage, assisting other agencies, hazardous waste disposal, and prisoner handling. Additional information covers air monitoring equipment, medical surveillance, training, and manual review. Appendixes provide copies of forms and other documentation.
