Annotation
A study comparing 24 male juvenile sex offenders and 24 other delinquents matched for age and social class showed few differences between the 2 groups.
Abstract
The differences indicate a higher prevalence of middle class boys, lower intellectual functioning and less incidence of truancy, alcohol abuse and temper tantrums among the sex offenders. The possible explanations of such findings are discussed. Tables and 16 references are included. (Author abstract modified)
