The Coordinated Law Enforcement Unit of British Columbia, Canada, is responsible for the control of organized crime throughout the Province.
Abstract
In spite of a number of organizational changes and issues relating to jurisdiction and resources, the unit is deemed to provide an effective means of dealing with this growing crime problem. The article discusses the background of the unit, its development and organizational structure, as well as the specific activities involving joint forces operations with other Provinces and the unit's policy analysis division.
