Abstract
No extraordinary trends in crime developed, and the police were successful in combating terrorism and maintaining internal security. Sections of the report focus on honored police officers, police strength, recruitment, the police reserve, training, crime statistics, the South African Police Dog School, radio communications, buildings, transportation, extra-departmental duties, and spiritual care and welfare services. Statistics are presented in tabular form.
