Abstract
THE INVESTIGATION PROCESS AND THE FINANCIAL IMPACT OF THE PROGRAM ARE ALSO BRIEFLY CONSIDERED. THE NEW YORK STATE PROGRAM REIMBURSES INNOCENT VICTIMS OF CRIME FOR THEIR MEDICAL EXPENSES AND LOSS OF EARNINGS.
